Landing gear extrusion fix

After my last post a viewer from the Canard Zone forum noticed that I goofed. The aft landing gear extrusions and 15 ply BID pad would interfere with the engine mount extrusions. I trimmed away about 1/2 of the landing gear bracket and BID pad. My concern now is with the location of the two top bolts: are they now to close to the edge?

Here is a photo of the left bracket before modification followed by the right which I have trimmed.

Hey Martin, good luck with the project, brings me back to >20 years ago...you may want research the main gear attach, there have been several issues in that area. We bushed the extrusions at the start and never had an issue with hole enlargement, but eventually the flox broke loose from the tube and the gear shifted aft. Build up a flox bushing so the gear buildup can't shift. It's in the CPs. You should also join Central States if you haven't. Be safe.
